Horses On A Hillside

During the month of May in the Methow Valley the Arrowleaf Balsamroot flower grows wild on the hillsides and is fragrant and beautiful. I love to ride my mountain bike along the trails and breathe deeply of the soft scents blowing in the wind. On this particular day I looked up and saw these pretty horses getting lunch up off the trail. I always carry my camera with me and so I pulled it out and captured the scene. Later on when I came home I processed this photograph and added some textures to it and enhanced the colors in Photoshop. I really enjoy capturing nature and wildlife and then adding effects to my pictures in order to portray reality in a slightly different way 🙂 I hope that you all are enjoying a pleasant Spring season wherever you may be….
