Family Ties Abstract Healing Art

Family is an important concept in my life and it is also a critical component of my future. My artwork today is exploring the idea of family and what it means to me. The rich colors and intricate details mirror the emotions that I feel when I consider this subject. Love and hope are the strongest factors in my present place and these are also emphasized in my digital artwork. I have overflowing amounts of joy to bring to the table here but I also have many hesitations and reservations surrounding my interactions with my very large and extended family. Then there are the connections that are not blood relations but deep and strong at the same time. Within all of this color are cherished memories and painful events.
