Luscious. Say it very slowly. Just saying the word feels sensual. The original meaning had to do with food. It was used in reference to vittles that were sweet and pleasant to taste or smell. However, it has also come to mean strong sensual or sexual appeal. You can have luscious lips or a luscious lychee.
My new piece is titled “Luscious Lemon”. We typically do not think of this yellow citrus fruit as sweet, but there is a variety that grows well in Florida. It is called a Meyer’s lemon and I’ve just planted a tree! They are fragrant and have a sweeter, less acidic flavor than the more common Lisbon or Eureka supermarket lemon varieties.
