Colorado Rocky Mountain Twin Peaks Autumn View Art Print

Sunset scenic view through the autumn trees to the Colorado snow dusted Rocky Mountains Twin Peaks, Mt Meeker on the left and Longs Peak on the right a fourteen-er. What a fantastic time of year in Colorado, now the lower elevation is starting to change after an incredible show in the high country.

We were shooting a senior portrait session on this location with a cool truck and this background.  Fun session lots of great autumn colors to use for the portrait session.  As I packed up to leave the sky started to light up and this view caught my eye.  So I shot a time lapse and a couple nice stills to go with it.  Please check out the time lapse that goes with this in my last post.

Svadisthana Two Abstract Chakra Art by Omaste Witkowski owFotoGrafik.com

Svadisthana

Swadhisthana, Svadisthana, or adhishthana is symbolised by a white lotus within which is a crescent moon, with six vermilion, or orange petals. The seed mantra is Vam, and the presiding deity is Brahma, with the Shakti being Rakini (or Chakini). The animal associated is the crocodile of Varuna.

This Chakra is located in the sacrum and is considered to correspond to the testes or the ovaries that produce the various sex hormones involved in the reproductive cycle. Swadisthana is also considered to be related to, more generally, the genitourinary system and the adrenals. The key issues involving Swadisthana are relationships, violence, addictions, basic emotional needs, and pleasure. Physically, Swadisthana governs reproduction, mentally it governs creativity, emotionally it governs joy, and spiritually it governs enthusiasm.[42]

Corresponding deity for material element of this chakra is Indra (head of Vasus) or Varuna. The seed syllable is VAM.”~Wikipedia

Manipura Abstract Chakra Art by Omaste Witkowski owFotografik.com

Manipura Abstract Chakra Art

Manipura or manipuraka is symbolised by a downward pointing triangle with ten petals, along with the color yellow. The seed syllable is Ram, and the presiding deity is Braddha Rudra, with Lakini as the Shakti.

Manipura is related to the metabolic and digestive systems. Manipura is believed to correspond to Islets of Langerhans,[40] which are groups of cells in the pancreas, as well as the outer adrenal glands and the adrenal cortex. These play a valuable role in digestion, the conversion of food matter into energy for the body. The colour that corresponds to Manipura is yellow. Key issues governed by Manipura are issues of personal power, fear, anxiety, opinion-formation, introversion, and transition from simple or base emotions to complex. Physically, Manipura governs digestion, mentally it governs personal power, emotionally it governs expansiveness, and spiritually, all matters of growth.[41]

I am in love with Nature itself. Fascinated by the shapes and colors that God has created. I do believe in creation and I do believe in science. I believe that God created science and everything else. Here is the tricky part though. I don’t think that God exists as One Specific creature or being. I believe that we are all god, and that each of us is a part of what created us. A child to a parent and then a parent back to a child. And on and on. So be kind to others and appreciate all that we are collectively, and all that we have the potential to become. No one is completely removed from the rest of the world. We are creating our reality as we live and the…

While combing through my massive photo inventory, I came across this lovely fella.  He was a stray that wondered up to our home and wouldn’t leave.  Unfortunately, we could not keep him because all of our dogs like to chase cats and years ago, one of my dogs caught one. 😦  So we found him a loving home with a friend that dubbed him “Flaco Taco”.  Meow!

Muladhara Two Or Root Chakra Abstract Art by Omaste WItkowski owFotoGrafik.com

Muladhara or Root Chakra

“Muladhara or root chakra is symbolised by a lotus with four petals and the color red. This center is located at the base of the spine in the coccygeal region. It is said to relate to the gonads and the adrenal medulla, responsible for the fight-or-flight response when survival is under threat.

Muladhara is related to instinct, security, survival and also to basic human potentiality. Physically, Muladhara governs sexuality, mentally it governs stability, emotionally it governs sensuality, and spiritually it governs a sense of security. Muladhara has a relation to the sense of smell.

This chakra is where the three main nadis separate and begin their upward movement. Dormant Kundalini rests here, wrapped three and a half times around the black Svayambhu linga, the lowest of three obstructions to her full rising (also known as knots or granthis). It is the seat of the…
