I am enjoying learning more about energy and the role that it plays in my life. I am working on my own energy and finding so many fascinating ideas. In the process of examining energy I was inspired to start work on a new series of art relating to the Seven Chakras. Each has a symbol and color associated with them and I am trying to capture the essence of each in my work. The beach days are almost over here in Florida.  It comes with mixed feelings.  There is the joy of cool crisp air and a chance to be outside on the trails.  But the damp cold of the sea is a bit too much.  I will miss it.  Until I return home…

Anahata

My artwork today is focusing on the Fourth Primary Chakra Anahata. It is fascinating to me the role that energy plays in our lives. The more Quantum Physics research I read the more I become convinced that we are energy and it is all around us. This brings me to Chakras and my understanding that these are energy points (subtle (non-physical) energy channels in our bodies). I am excited to learn more and in the process of learning I will be creating artworks focused on these colors and energies. So much fun to work with color and light and imagination…..
