Colored Arrows Abstract Macro Glass Photography by Omaste Witkowski owFotoGrafik.com

Colored Arrows

A colorful flight of fancy into an abstract realm is what this picture reminds me of. When I first took the photograph I saw arrows for some reason. Two years later I am looking at it and not seeing arrows anymore?

What do you see here in this abstract photograph?

This picture started out as a picture of handblown glass created by Garth Mudge of Glassworks. Glassworks is located downtown Winthrop Wa (Washington State), in the beautiful Methow Valley. The Methow is a small jewel of an area not too far from Seattle in the Pacific Northwest. Okanogan County is such a great place to live for all of the sunshine and outdoors recreation.
It was taken with a Macro lens and is a very small section of the overall object. I am exploring hand blown glass at a macro level in the hopes of creating fine…

Blue Fish Abstract Macro Glass Photography by Omaste WItkowski owFotoGrafik.comBlue Fish

I see a blue fish here. Swimming peacefully through its abstract Glass ocean. The water flows smoothly around as this creature makes its way to the next reality it is looking for. In this dimension the shades of light create the environment and my little friend is happy indeed 🙂

Jo Ann Tomaselli ~ Fine Art Photography

A dramatic colorful dawn.
A vibrant sun barely peeking above the horizon.
A brilliant turquoise blue sky mirrored on the waters’ surface.
A seagull perfectly silhouetted in a water-world landscape.
The strains of a song running through my head.

Many times when I’m photographing, I’ll hear a song drifting in my mind. If it’s persistent enough it becomes the title for the image.  On the day I took this image, I couldn’t get the song ‘Chelsea Morning’ by Joni Mitchell out of my head!

In her 1967 introduction to ‘Chelsea Morning’ at the White Swan in Leicester, Joni said this of her song “This is my Chelsea Song. It’s also full of morning and rainbows and much the same things because it was inspired by the same set of stained glass windows.”

Happy humming!

Woke up, it was a Chelsea morning

Egyptian Queen Abstract Macro Glass Photography by Omaste Witkowski owFotoGrafik.comEgyptian Queen

Luxurious colors abound in this photograph of glass. For some reason it reminds me of a beautiful egyptian queen. Maybe Cleopatra maybe someone else. Confidence gold and jewels all indicate an ancient beauty.

Ballerina Abstract Macro Glass Photography by Omaste Witkowski owFotoGrafik.comBallerina

This photograph reminds me of a ballet slipper. A magical ballet slipper sparkling with fairy dust. Surrounded by beautiful color and magical tones of sound and light. Dancing for the spirit of creativity in all of us.

Simplicity and beauty are things that we love. It is nice when all that we want can be captured in a photograph. Red is a very powerful color. It could be war, love, fear, evil, peace, sensuality, whatever we interpret it to be really. Ballerinas are elegant, they are beautiful and powerful. They are strong and wise. They are a very strong image for everybody.
