Here is another image from our trip to Arizona for Thanksgiving. Scenic view of an Indian Village along I-40 between Holbrook and Gallup New Mexico. This is such a cool area to explore, Painted Desert, Petrified Forest, Indian Ruins, Bluewater State Park, Bandera Lava Volcano and Ice caves, plus the historical Rout 66.

The garden of love is green…..

The garden of love is green without limit and yields many fruits other than sorrow or joy. Love is beyond either condition: without spring, without autumn, it is always fresh.

I have always loved this image. The soft shades of green and just a sliver of other vibrant colors. I sense such affection and joy here and I can ponder the idea of whether spirits are here and what they are saying. I see movement and stillness at the same time and a hint of a mothers love. The blue up in the corner is otherworldly and you have to look carefully to find it.
This picture is a macro photograph of a glass ornament, and was created as part of a series for the Twisp River Suites.

Here is another from our trip to Arizona for the Thanksgiving holiday. I was able to get up in the early morning hours before everyone got up to get this and be back for a full day. It was clear blue skies the whole time we were there so the sky was not spectacular and this is one I came up with. Shooting right into the sun with high f stop makes for a star effect. A scenic landscape view of the Arizona Sonoran desert as the blazing sun rises over the mountains.

Friendly Fish
I see friendly red, green and blue fish swimming peacefully in an abstract environment. It is interesting to me that the RGB is here in this picture. It is a photograph and I am so very fascinated by Macro photography. Finding the smallest of images and magnifying them so that you can see just what is hiding out of view. I spent hundreds of hours, actually 6 months, with a full studio set up to take Macro photographs. In the end I found over 20,000 unique images to play with. I was obsessed and in love. All this beautiful color and shape hiding in plain sight…….

Woody The Woodpecker
I am really enjoying going back through these early photographs and connecting with the spirit of the art. I love the light that glows through and warms the image. The various colors that will blend and soften into each other. I realized that I don’t find these colors anywhere else but in glass. They are so varied and the tones and textures move in a fluid motion. I am in awe of glass for some reason. It inspires me and awakens a spirit of creativity that I enjoy. My home is filled with various glass objects and I am surrounded by beauty every day. I am hoping to share this beauty I have found in the spirit of sharing joy with all of you.
