The stain

of  their indignities and indiscretions

their joys and sorrows

When She walks down the street

a sea of people part

nearly bowing in reverence

to Her very presence

They cannot help themselves

They yearn to touch Her

Her very being is an illumination

a soft glowing beacon

Her attention is discreet

The slightest of touches 

temper their souls

surrounding them

in a healing blue light

She is a weaver

a Tantra  goddess melding together

the human and divine

A starry  messenger

 A natural-born remedy

A harbinger of peace if only for a whisper of time

The nice thing about moving to a new house in winter is having very little idea of what to expect in the garden in spring. Our garden has been producing lots of lovely surprises and the latest one is one of my favourites – a peony bud! The two buds on display at the moment are somewhat small but I am very excited to see the colour of the bloom. There are several other lovely blooms to behold, the roses continue to enchant with a yellow variety and the lemon tree is now in blossom.

Golf balls that is…..

I do not play golf, but I could not resist this bag of old and well used golf balls at an estate sale recently.  They looked lonely all by themselves and perfect for my lens.  I can only imagine the stories behind them.  I tried to learn this sport a long time ago when a date who loved to play invited me along.  I got tired of walking since we did not use a golf cart.  There just wasn’t enough “action” for my football loving tastes.  Plus my balls went everywhere and it is a miracle that neither of us ended up with a concussion.  I would hit them hard and then I kept forgetting to yell “fore”!  What a riot…..

I know for a lot of folks golfing is a serious past time and I do respect it as a sport, but for me it is just…

restaurant and moved to California, my house burned down and lost

all of them, including another artist..Charleton..
