Where does love originate?  The heart or the brain?  Or is it something that we attract from outside of ourselves?  Science tells us that all emotions including love originates in the brain. We feel the passions of love because our brains contain specific neurochemicals and peptides that create those loving feelings in us. There is never a conflict between the heart and the brain but rather between different parts of the brain, parts that specialize in rational thought, such as long-term planning, and parts that give our lives emotional energy.  Lends support to the old term “head over heels”. 😉

I see life and wisdom here. Blue is my favorite color and here I am representing all of the knowledge ever know in a brilliant shade that I love so much. All of the experience and drama that overlay daily life are colorful reminders of what we embrace as we breathe each new adventure. Looking deep within I can see what to listen to and what to avoid as I travel. Listen to the blue wisdom and seek truth in the very center of being. All will be revealed as you stare into the eyes of infinity 🙂

A lot of people are looking for art online these days.  And it is currently a great place to find it too!  There are so many talented artists who represent themselves which enables them to offer pricing far below gallery.  I’ve been fishing lately too.  In the past 10 plus years I have created a lot of work.  And I recently rediscovered two tropical fish that I painted years ago.  What a catch!  Going through the many years worth of work is really interesting and fun.

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to creating circles.  When I was very young I would also count them.  I no longer do that, but I still paint, draw and create spirals and circles daily.  I have always felt that it cleared my mind.  Recently, someone exposed me to the concept of “enso” making.  

In Zen Buddhism, an ensō (円相 , “circle”^?) is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create.

The ensō symbolizes absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe, and mu (the void). It is characterised by a minimalism born ofJapanese aesthetics.
