I know a lot of artists read my blog…..And this is too good not to share. So I was trying this “miracle” egg white application to fix a droopy eyelid….One of my eyes has a heavier lid, so I figured what the heck…I will try it! Anyway….no miracle there. But after my show I discovered one of my huge canvases had support bar marks all the way across the canvas from being pressed too hard into it….No amount of spraying water on the back and drying was getting them out….I gave up last night. Then this morning as I am egg whiting my eye lid…The light bulb went off!! LOL….So I smeared the egg white all over the back near the marks including where the marks were and I then blowed it with my hairdryer on low heat until dry…Viola!! Marks completely gone!! Sooooo if you ever have a canvas…

This time of year when I am busy working like one of Santa’s elves and hustling about trying to get my Holiday shopping done, it is easy to forget that so many people in our world, country, state, city and neighborhood will not be having a “merry” Christmas.  For many just getting to their next meal is a blessing.  However, every year the Universe sends me a reminder to be giving.  To show compassion and love.  There is always a homeless person I encounter each year whose eyes speak to me in a way I cannot adequately explain.  I almost feel as if it is God looking back at me saying, “I have given so much to you, will you give something back?”  I always give large bills even though they are asking only for spare change.  I also make a point to touch them by gently squeezing their…

I have a lot of artwork stored in my computer.  I’ve listed some pieces, only to take them down later due to lack of interest.  But what I have found is that I can continue to work with a piece at a later date to create something entirely new and fresh that DOES get a lot of attention!  This is a very new process for me.  In the past, when I was done, I was done.  I never went back to an old piece to rework it. I think that the digital age has really helped me over this hump.  Out with the old and in with the new!
