Today I am finishing the last layer of my picture. Here I am experiencing the full awareness of my creating. I really enjoy the process of arranging colors and shapes. It is such a soulful experience as I imagine my way through my images. I am never sure what my work will look like until I am done and I guess I really love the mystery of it. Each piece is a gift from God to Me to You. My art is something I explore with the aid of a higher power. When I create from my Head nothing works. I have to create from my heart and soul. Then I feel the fireworks igniting throughout myself and I know that I am on the right track.

I named this final image “Whispering Dimensions”. I am getting the feeling of voices from other places here. Soft little senses of beauty…

Today’s work is centered in the Earth and located in an alternate reality at the same time. Both world’s are present and accounted for. The very base of the Root Chakra is melting into the energies of the world and lighting a fire throughout humanity. Coordinating with this is the soothing energies of Home.

I really love this light brownish layer I created with an Oil Paint Filter. I stared with a color that I picked from the background design. Then I apply the filter and adjust settings to show more or less color, brushstrokes etc. Once I had this layer I made it about 90% transparent. This way you see a bit of the underlying design below the brushstrokes. For me it gives the sense of another world waiting below the surface.

Today we are onto Blue Hearts. Blue is my favorite color and I really love the depth and vibrancy of this layer. I made a couple of slight changes from the layer yesterday and if you look closely you will see them 🙂

Welcome to the Final Layer. I have named this piece “Loving Beauty In Chaos”
I named it this because of all the complicated interactions and bright colors.
Everything comes together in a symphony of light and organic shapes.

Happy Monday Everyone,
I am starting on a new design this week that was created from a Photograph I named “Underwater Whimsy”. This photograph was of a small glass oil dispenser. I took a Macro photo and then painted over the top layer and then merged the layers. It is a Textured Abstract process that I have used quite a few times in my work. Today I am showing you the original photograph with texture layers and then the resulting design.
